Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site.

Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for users leaving comments on our blogs (and browser user agent string to help with spam detection). We only disclose commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that we use and disclose personally-identifying information, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrator of the blog where the comment was left.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Our visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using our website, with the drawback that certain features of our website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, links, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

Many web hosting accounts collect some anonymous analytics data. Our website uses Google Analytics (GA), a service which we use to measure website traffic. GA does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other services. We use reports provided by GA to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage.

GA collects non-personal identification information and also utilizes web browser cookies.

By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by GA in the manner described in GA’s Privacy Policy and for the purposes set out above.
